The Wemotec Mini Fan 480 has been designed to accept a wide range of 29 mm motors, though it will happily accept the SPEED 400 types as well.
The glass reinforced five bladed rotor comes in one piece. With a standard SPEED 480 Race motor on eight cells it is possible to achieve thrust figures in excess of 400 grams. Use the Wemotec Mini Fan 480 with complete safety at an input power of up to 700W and static thrust figures as high as 1,4kg of thrust. We can supply the Mini Fan 480 for 2,3mm, 3,2mm, and 4mm shaft motors, though please be aware that 4mm shaft motors are not recommended for use with the Mini Fan 480. The eflux tube should ideally be reduced to a diameter of 58 mm.

The rotor of the Mini Fan 480 Pro is balanced to 7/1000 of a gram - No additional balancing or adjustments are required.

The Mega 16 EDF is a 28mm diameter motor with a 3,2mm shaft developed especially for use in the Wemotec Mini Fan 480 with 3S LiPo or 10 cells, whilst making best use of a Jeti Advance 40 controller for up to 1kg of static thrust (when used with 11.1v SharkPOWER 3700).
4mm gold plug and socket with 6.4mm heatshrink, 28mm long. Accepts 2.5mm cable, and rated for up to about 80A. This connector is manufacturered in Germany to the very highest standards.
